Caturrita

Armasen Typefaces is a foundry created by a collective of designers who, when in college, were inspired by the art of typography. Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Armasen Typefaces has released designs such as the Caturrita design, and its subsequently modified version, the Caturrita Extra family. A higher-contrast companion face – Caturrita Display (seen above) – is excellently suited for headline applications as well as short text settings.

Reina

Founded by Maximiliano Sproviero in 2008, Lián Types is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sproviero is inspired by both gothic blackletter, uncial hands and calligraphic type styles. The Reina type family (above) is a Didone style system, proving a wide array of beautiful and expressive alternates. Swashes and ligatures also add to elegance of the faces.

The Reina collection of typefaces is available in 8 styles and variants, including a font containing sets of common words in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
